Herringbone feature wall in a Wokingham downstairs toilet

We were called out to add a bit of character to a downstairs toilet that needed something to catch the eye. The space was fairly plain before, so the plan was to bring in a herringbone tiling feature that would really make the room stand out. With herringbone, the real work happens before you even lay a tile. We spent time getting the layout spot on, making sure all the joints would line up properly when we came back around the walls. It's the kind of job where rushing the prep means problems down the line, so we took our time to get it right. Once we were happy with the setup, we laid the tiles in that classic V-pattern and then grouted everything in white to let the herringbone pattern do the talking. The result is a proper feature wall now. The white grout really makes the geometry of the tiles stand out, and it's transformed what was a fairly ordinary room into somewhere with real character.
