About L&E Leadwork and Roofing

L&E Leadwork and Roofing is Lewis's company, based on Nine Mile Ride in Wokingham. Leadwork is what we are known for: chimney and abutment flashings, dormer tops and cheeks, bay, porch and canopy roofs, lead capping under copings, and shelf and cill details on new builds. Every job is formed and fixed to Lead Sheet Association guidelines, in the right code of lead, with the laps, welts and fixings it needs to move with the weather.

Some of our best work is on older and listed buildings. We made and fitted a Code 6 lead canopy on a listed property directly opposite Windsor Castle, and rebuilt the gables at Wokingham Baptist Church with new lead capping under handmade Portland stone. We also lay GRP, single-ply and EPDM flat roofs and strip and re-tile pitched roofs, and we work for homeowners, local builders and main contractors across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire.
