Terms
Last updated: 16 May 2026
These terms are written in plain English. If anything's unclear, email us at hello@heyguv.com and we'll explain.
These terms are an agreement between you (the trade business or tradesperson signing up for Heyguv) and Floorfindr Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (trading as Heyguv). They cover your use of the Heyguv service — the website, the dashboard, the lead inbox, and everything we build into the product over time.
By signing up for an account, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't sign up.
These terms apply to you as our paying (or comped) customer. People who submit leads through your Heyguv site are covered by our privacy policy and by whatever arrangements you have with them directly — not by these terms.
Heyguv is a software-as-a-service product for UK tradespeople. For the duration of your subscription we provide:
We may add, change, or remove features over time. Where a change materially reduces what you get, we'll give you reasonable notice — usually by email — so you can decide whether to stay.
To sign up for Heyguv you must:
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you think someone else has accessed your account, email hello@heyguv.com and we'll help you lock it down.
Every new account gets a 14-day free trial. We ask for a card upfront so the trial can roll seamlessly into a paid subscription on day 15 — you won't be charged before then.
We offer three plans, billed monthly or annually in GBP:
Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; if we do, your current paid term (the month or year you've already paid for) is unaffected — the new price applies from your next renewal.
If a payment fails, we'll try again and let you know. If payment stays unresolved beyond a short grace period, we may suspend your site and dashboard until it's settled.
You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your dashboard. There's no notice period and no cancellation fee. Refunds are not given for partial months or partial years except where required by law (for example, certain consumer rights) or where we discontinue the service — see Termination below. On cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
You must not use Heyguv to:
If we believe you've breached this section, we may suspend or terminate your account. If we terminate for a serious or repeated breach, you're not entitled to a refund of unused prepaid time.
You own everything you upload — your photos, project posts, testimonials, services, business info, and so on. We don't claim any rights over your content beyond what we need to run the service for you.
By uploading content, you grant Floorfindr Ltd a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating Heyguv on your behalf. That licence ends when you remove the content or close your account, except for backup copies kept for the retention periods set out in the privacy policy.
You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload — including photos that show identifiable people. The privacy policy has more on what that means in practice. You're also responsible for the accuracy of your content; we don't review it before it goes live.
The Heyguv platform — the software, brand, code, templates, designs, and documentation — is owned by Floorfindr Ltd. For the duration of your subscription we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own trade business.
You can't resell access to Heyguv, white-label the product, or sublicense it to anyone else. If you'd like to do something along those lines, get in touch and we'll talk.
We aim for high uptime but we don't guarantee 100%. Internet services have outages — ours, our hosting provider's, our database's, the wider internet's. Where we can, we'll do planned maintenance with reasonable notice and outside UK business hours.
Support is by email at hello@heyguv.com. We respond on a best-efforts basis — there's no contractual SLA at the moment, but in practice we aim to reply within one working day.
You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your dashboard.
We may terminate your account if:
When your account ends — for any reason — your Heyguv site goes offline and your custom domain (if any) is detached. Your data is retained for the periods described in the privacy policy before deletion.
We provide Heyguv “as is” and “as available”. We don't make any specific guarantees about uptime, search ranking, lead volume, or business outcomes.
To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for:
Our total liability to you, taken together, in any rolling 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded under UK law.
You agree to indemnify Floorfindr Ltd against any third-party claims, costs, or losses that arise from your content or from your use of Heyguv in breach of these terms. For example: if someone sues us because of something you posted on your Heyguv site, you cover our reasonable costs.
We may update these terms from time to time. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) we'll just update inline with a new “last updated” date. Material changes we'll email all active customers with at least 30 days' notice before they take effect.
If you continue using Heyguv after the notice period, that counts as acceptance of the new terms. If you don't agree, cancel before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
