We lay three flat roof systems and pick the one that suits the roof and the budget: ResTec Flexitec 2020 GRP, Sika single-ply, and EPDM rubber.
Recent flat roofs include a GRP replacement in Woodley with new boarding to correct the falls, new lead flashings and lead capping; a Sika single-ply roof in Charvil with a sloping detail to avoid a deep fascia; an EPDM roof on a garden room in Crowthorne; and a warm deck roof on a dormer and front extension in Finchampstead for a local builder.
We also replaced a failed three-layer torch-on roof at a private school in Wokingham, and in Maidenhead we had an asbestos roof safely removed before laying a new ventilated EPDM roof.
Where an existing GRP roof is failing but the build-up underneath is sound, we can core test it and overlay it rather than strip it, as we did in Battersea.
