Listed buildings and churches need leadwork done the traditional way, with materials and methods the conservation officer will sign off.
We made and fitted a Code 6 lead entrance canopy on a listed building directly opposite Windsor Castle, following Lead Sheet Association guidelines from the substrate through to bossing and welding.
At Wokingham Baptist Church, a listed building in the town centre, the old coping stones on the gables had reached the end of their life. We took them down, carried out local slate repairs with new soakers, and fitted new lead capping and flashings under handmade Portland stone, working within the heritage rules for the building.
