Lead suits small flat roofs, shelves over bay windows and weatherings above doors and windows, where a neat finish matters as much as keeping the water out.
On a new build in Sunningdale we made and fitted two bespoke lead shelf details in Code 5 lead to stop water getting in where the walls step back. On a development in Egham we added a lead shelf above the bay windows, which gave the client more headroom inside.
Each piece is sized and fixed to Lead Sheet Association guidance, with the right underlay underneath and room for the lead to expand and contract.
We work from drawings for builders and architects, or come out and measure up for homeowners.
